"Saving the American Dream One Day At a Time"

"Divided Highway" was a good listen. It was written in first person and is a personal accounting or journal type story by Daniel M. Urbaetis. I think he proves to have good writing skills only anything I could identify with was brief. I truly love his patriotism and his belief in the American dream.
I think this author will continue writing in this style and perhaps a day will come when he does carve out a niche in this genre and in the vein of HST.
John N. Gully is a proven talented narrator. He has a wonderful speaking voice and he's especially versatile. He did a great job reading for the author and made it easy to understand. His performance was flawless.

Bold Voice of the Future, What we need more of

There's a lot of meaning in this book and it trancends the story itself. Apparently there are some people out there who appointed themselves scholars with no background to merit said credentials completely misinterpreting the intent of the book. This writer didn't set out to seek anyone's approval. That's a hollow venture. They must have thought my process was supposed to be for them. You don't write books to impress anyone. That's a dishonest way to write. He wrote with honesty forward. In my opinion the narrator really rushed through the read and the flow of the story suffered. It helps to have a visual aid in front of you. Before a new section is introduced, the writer utilized, like other authors, a line or two that subtitles what you're about to read. In the case of the walking journal section he used numerous topic introducing lines prior to the section's beginning because the section itself is the longest in the book with the most topics. The narrator didn't bother to punctuate verbally any difference between that and the previous section, nor the upcoming section. So without pauses or simply him saying, "topic headings" you get uneducated, illierate people with no capability of visualizing the written text claiming it's disjointed writing. No. It's rushed narration without pauses that wounds the writing. These comments I read do more to discredit the reader. It displays their limitations, not the writer's nor the story. In my opinion it seems like there a lot of fools with nothing better to do than listen and criticize others. I am sorry that this audio book has had the misfortune of falling into the hands of society's lowest citizens with the biggest mouths. They would struggle to read a book if it wasn't read to them.
Divided Highway executes its message clearly, and it's concise. It did exactly what it set out to do, and it is an accomplishment. It's also a breath of fresh air in an era where values are low, the governmentvis too big, and the lazy masses want the working man to pay for their despicable existences. This is not Mocking Jay. This isn't a tween nonsense story. This is a story that comes along in history when it's needed the most. Not unlike Thomas Paine's Common Sense, this story will have the same motivational effect on the right audience. It's witty, entertaining, laugh-out-loud funny at times, and regardless whether you agree with the opinions expressed therein, this type of fearless writing is what the literary world needs much more of. The story is very well written, daring, and the writer has earned our respect
