About the Author
Dr. David Marzak is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he was an Honor Student and President of the Sociology and Psychology Clubs. Following graduation, he served the church as an elementary school teacher and as a missionary middle school and high school English and social studies teacher. After completing his doctorate at the University of Florida and earning a diploma in Polish Language and Culture from the Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, he had his post-doctoral work approved and funded by the Polish National Ministry of Education. He has served as adjunct, assistant, and associate professor of politics and social ethics, as Academic Dean and President of Our Lady of Corpus Christi, as Superintendent of Catholic Schools, and as Vice Chancellor and Chancellor of Education for the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity. He is also the creator of the “World's Greatest Books” aired on AT&T educational television and online at www.kolbefoundation.org. Currently, Dr. Marzak is working as Director of the Kolbe Foundation to establish the Center for Politics and Christian Civilization. “Trinitarian Humanism” provides the necessary anthropological foundation for Christian social thinking about man and society, which is integral to the Center’s educational programs and efforts to facilitate social, political, and economic renewal in the modern world.

A must read book that offers an integral perspective of humanity by obtaining a better grasp of our Origin and End.

Dr. Marzak uniquely analyzes the human person by taking an integral approach; one that includes Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Philosophy, Theology and more. In a world often blindly led by isolated scientific discovery, this book shines as a light in the darkness by appreciating new knowledge offered by the sciences without sacrificing the long-established use of reason and faith. Whether Atheist, Christian, Agnostic, New age, or other, you can and will learn from Dr. Marzak's writing which cherishes the sciences and seeks to reunite them to Philosophy and Theology. In this great work, he presents logical and sound evidence gathered through an unbiased study of contemporary science to illustrate how man truly is made to the image of God. The only way for man to reach his (or her) potential is to know from Whom he (or she) comes and toward Whom he (or she) is directed. In our hyper-politicized society there is no shortage of debate over what makes for a good human society, but without a common understanding of human nature most of this debate is unproductive. In this book Dr. Marzak tackles the critical and fundamental question of what is a human being. Dr. Marzak makes a comprehensive case for a “new” humanism, an understanding of the mystery of the human person based on our Trinitarian structures. This Trinitarian framework serves as a key to unlock the meaning of the human being in chapters on biological life, the relationship between the soul and DNA, and human rational thought and language. This book is not a quick read, but delves into each of the subject areas and provides extensive supporting facts and arguments, along with many beautiful insights. This is a timely book, as it explores many of the themes hinted at in Pope Francis’ recent Encyclical “Laudato Si”. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a deeper understanding of human nature.

The author moves from science of Biology, the reason of Philosophy and the revelation of Theology establishing man with conviction as different from all other animals giving us unequaled insight to his true being both physically and mentally. He accomplishes this through documented demonstration and reason at the same time exposing modern atheistic and new age views lacking the same proofs.
