About the Author
Despite his Catholic upbringing and experience as a "saved" Christian in his early college years, Kevin came out as an atheist in the mid-1990s. A US Constitution enthusiast, he now focuses on examining, explaining, and defending the separation of church and state through his website, DividedUnderGod.com. Kevin helps raise awareness of current legislative and judiciary efforts that aim to weaken the Wall of Separation that is so important to our success as a nation free from religious influence and oppression.

This is a very well written and easy to understand book for those who have a relative or friend who is Atheist. It is not geared to change your beliefs; it is intended to help you relate and understand someone who may think differently than you regarding a higher power. It will help you accept the fact that your friend/relative is still the same as you but has free thinking which is everyone's right. It will also provide you with discussion topics for future conversations with that person. A worthwhile read!

A beautifully written book

I happened to be in the right place at the right time to have received a free copy of this book and in doing so I decided to get it for my parents. I wanted to read it first just to get a feel of what it's all about. I sat down with a highlighter and highlighted some key points I wanted my parents to acknowledge and understand what is written in this book is what I feel and is something serious to me. This book is so incredibly written, it does not target or bash any religion but merely sheds light on us nonbelievers in a beautifully humble way. I loved every minute reading it and look forward to giving this to my parents and hopefully strengthening the bond between us.

About the Author
Author David Wermuth David Wermuth was born in Everett, Washington in 1962. After enduring many years of physical and emotional abuse in his childhood, David attempted to live a “normal” life. However, this was not meant to be. As a direct result of his father’s actions, David went Suddenly Blind on April 12, 1995. Although David lost his sight at the age of thirty-two, he did not give up on his dreams. David went on to graduate with his Associates of Arts Degree from Pierce College in Lakewood, WA and his Bachelors Degree from the University of Washington/Tacoma. He started his career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Teacher-Independent Living Specialist for the Texas Commission for the Blind in February, 2003. David has written several magazine and newspaper articles. His first novel, “Suddenly Blind (From Tragedy to Triumph: The Resilience of the Human Spirit)” was released in March, 2011. His second novel, “David, You’re Blind! (We can’t take care of you…)” released in October, 2013. While David attended Pierce College, he was president of the disabled student organization, Barrier Breakers in 1996. At the University of Washington/Tacoma, he was elected vice president of the student organization for non-profit studies. David also served as president of the following local chapters: The American Council of the Blind (ACB) in 1998 and The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) in 2010. David is also a member and Past-President of The Hudson/Brooksville Lions Club and was awarded Lion of the Year for Florida District 35-I in 2013. David now resides in Florida with his wife Holly and their two guide dogs, Bingo and Oreo. Great Read!

This book opened my eyes to intimacy the way God created it to be. Even though I am a woman married with children I read the book to equip myself to minister to the youth that I encounter. To let them know to wait until marriage. Dianna Hobbs shared some of her life testimonies of how she remained abstinent even when it was hard to do. Put God first and everything else will follow.

About the Author
Stephen Nasser was 13 years old when the Nazis whisked him and his family away from their home in Hungary to Auschwitz. Stephen moved to the United States in 1958 and has had a variety of careers including restauranteur, insurance salesman, and real estate company owner. Stephen and his wife, Francoise, a retired nurse, currently reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Must Read, Must Buy

I recently finished reading My Brother's Voice and was so moved by the story and all Mr. Nasser had to endure and witness. I cried many times while reading this book, out of sadness, horror and frustration.

In fact in recounting some of the book to my husband and non Jewish friend to illustrate a point about the pure evil of some people I couldn't even finish the story without breaking down. Reading it was one thing then to voice it out loud, and explain it to someone was overwhelming. I can't imagine what it was/is for Mr. Nasser having lived it.

Mr. Nasser's amazing inner strength and determination is a true testament to the human spirit. He has made me proud to be a Jew. I didn't grow up an observant Jew (except for high holidays, of course) and although I wasn't ashamed to be Jewish, I didn't exactly go out of my way to announce to the world I was a Jew. These past several years, I have found myself becoming more "Jewish" if you will. The more I read the more I want to know. The more I feel the more I want to scream at the world. This book is another significant layer in my growth. I can't adequately put into words what I mean at this point, but I wanted to say that this book has had a great impact on my life and hopefully through me, an impact on others as well.

Once you read this book Mr. Nasser's and his family's great losses and suffering will always be carried in your heart and with that the promise to "never forget"

INSPIRING!

I think this book should be required reading for all middle school aged children !! This is an amazing story of Love, Courage, and Ambition. Many lessons can be learned here. I am amazed at what young Pista was able to endure, and overcome. This is not your typical Concentration Camp Story, but a true life conquest. A tale of love and overcoming unbelievable odds. This story picks up where "Diary of Anne Frank" leaves us off.
I would love to one day meet the Author, Stephen Nasser. He must truly be an amazing and wonderful human being. Thank you for sharing your incredible lifes journey with the world!

A Tragic Holocaust Story

Mr Nasser's memoirs of his harrowing experience in the Nazi death camps is a tribute to the courage and strength of a child under unspeakable conditions. His survival and ability to live a happy, productive life is truly amazing. An excellent book - well written!

I've wanted to write a review for this book ever since finishing it about a week ago, but there are just no words to describe the epic journey through the contemporary relationship that Parker takes you on in 'Are You There Margaret, It's Me, God'. I found myself wishing I was even half the writer that Parker is, just so that I could be capable of writing a review that would do this book justice. His remarkable ability to express his innermost thoughts and feelings in words makes him a modern day Shakespeare, while simultaneously giving brilliant relationship advice based on his own experiences. Although there's nothing I can say that could possibly prepare you for this extraordinary adventure, my one piece of advice is this: Boil some eggs before you start, because you will absolutely be jonesing for an egg salad sandwich by the time you're finished.

Romance with a twist!

Linda Gunther has a wonderful way with colorful, vivid description: places and people spring to life on the page and draw the reader in. The female protagonist, 'Charlie', is engaging, warm and very real. The other characters, whether they have large roles or small, are interesting and three-dimensional. There is dramatic tension, which is cleverly built up from the first subtle hints of something not being as it seems to a gripping climax.
"Ten Steps from the Hotel Inglaterra" is a romantic story above all. The ending is very happy and sweet - which may not be every reader's cup of tea - but hey! no book has ever been written for ALL readers!
Well done, Linda, and I look forward to your next work.

Great romantic adventure

Ten Steps From the Hotel Inglaterra" was a perfect vacation read for me. It kept me turning the pages engrossed in Charlie's adventure. It was over too quickly as I read day and night. Charlie is a very believable and sympathetic character. The poignant story of her dealing with her emotions over a sister lost too young comes around with a satisfying closure. The interesting and well developed side characters gave the novel continuous interest not initially revealing quite how they would fit in or develop as the story unfolded. Very creative and imaginative! I am looking forward to the next one....Thanks Linda, for writing this impressive first novel from your heart.,

Great romantic suspenseful novel!

I loved the flow, balance and movement of Ten Steps. Each character was important, relatable, and memorable. The book has just the right balance of romance, intrigue, fun, adventure, fantasy and real life situations. It pulled my back and stayed with me when I was done reading. Each situation and every page was meaningful and mattered. I loved it!! I will look forward to reading this authors next novel!

A Life Saver

My doctoral dissertation was on obesity in childhood and thus I have an interest in weight management. This book takes a look at the science and gives the reader valuable information on the role of metabolism in establishing and maintaining healthy weight. As the author appropriately points out "there is so much bad weight loss information out there, it can be hard to know what advice is correct and what advice really works."

How many people, despite their honest efforts find that their weight won't budge from a set point? The author lays the groundwork for her approach with a review of the Bermuda Triangle of Fat.

Processed foods, stress, and lack of good sleep (topic of my own book) are your enemies. She educates the reader of the value of good sleep and how to burn fat all night long without exercising.

In the Metabolism Reboot Diet, Johnson takes you by the hand wand provides step-by-step instructions in how to reboot your body's energy level and lose weight for good in a healthy way. Her Metabolism Reboot food rules are a clear example for the reader to easily follow. She teaches you how to switch from being a sugar burner to being a fat burner. Now that's a recipe for success. I highly recommend this book. It could add years to your life.

Well written, lots of great information I never knew!

I'm a "how/why" person, and I always do better when I know how something works, or why something functions the way it does. So I LOVED that aspect of this book! It explained many scientific principles without being overwhelming, and went beyond much of what is explained in typical diet books. I liked how the author compared this diet to other diets, and explained the differences between them. I also appreciated the attention to "personal responsibility", a factor often not discussed in weight loss books. I'm also a big fan of coconut oil, so I'm eager to try the coconut macadamia fudge -YUM!

Everyone wants to lose weight. Tell me something I don't know. This book is so much more important than just a typical diet book. In our modern society we are all stressed beyond belief and certainly recognition. Even if you have a job, a happy family, a svelte figure that's easy to maintain, a beloved who is perfect . . . if your eyes are open and your ears work, there is much that is stressing your system and can shorten your life. The explanation alone about the human hormone cortisol and how it wreaks havoc with our bodies and how to shift this one little element you are probably even unaware of is worth the price of this book.

Surprise!!

I read the first part of this series in one night and I have been waiting for this. The book starts out just as the previous book ended. Just like the other book it sucks you into Sidney's mind and captivates you from the first word to the last word. There is a pretty good surprise that I had not anticipated and would have loved to seen my face when I read it. The story moves at a quick pace and makes it so basically you can't put it down. Usually when you read a book there is a good stopping point where you can pick it up later, but not this one. H.M. Ward does a fantastic job of conveying the character's feelings that you feel the words. Love love love it!!!

Intimate emotion, humor, romantic Angst and hot sexy love scenes

I just felt thoroughly entertained while reading the second book in this series. Damaged 2 had the perfect balance of character development, humor, serious emotional conflict and some beautiful love scenes. The author brilliantly entwined her characters from her other series. I wouldn't read this series before reading the Arrangement series, though. It adds a lot to the story to read the books in this order: Damaged 1, Arrangement 1-7, Damaged 2. Take my advice on this and you will enjoy the stories even more!

I did not think that Damaged 2 could be better than the first; I was completely wrong. I read this book in one sitting. We get to find out about Pete's secret. And when you do find it out you'll slap your forehead and say "How did I not see that?" I know I did. I absolutely loved this book. I love Pete and Sidney and reading about their story. I hope that we get to read more about them in The Arrangement and Stripped.
