Book Missing Content On PTCB Areas 5 & 9

This book listing has the "Look Inside" feature. If you look at the Preface on page five you will read that the nine new PTCB knowledge areas are to be covered in this book. However, if you look at the Table of Contents on pages six and seven you will notice only seven PTCB knowledge areas are actually discussed. This book is missing content on areas 5 Quality Assurance and 9 Information Systems. Other than this omission of content I was pleased with this study guide, what little I read of it before I had to send it back to Amazon. Therefore, I gave it four stars in the hopes a more complete version will be published in the near future. I have brought this to the attention of the publisher and here is the text from their email response to me:

You are correct in your observation that the printed version of our study guide is missing sections on area 5 and area 9. We have temporarily removed the study guide from the market while this issue is being corrected - a process we are told may take several business days. If you have already purchased a copy, we recommend you return it as soon as possible. Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention.

Has answered all my questions!!

This book has by far met my needs for the PTCB exam! I took it once before with a book I had previously purchased and was not at all prepared. Although, I scored just 10 points below passing, I did not feel prepared for the material that was on the exam. However, with this book I feel completely confident in my next attempt. It has answered many of my questions that I had once I had finished my previous attempt on the exam. I have high hopes for passing with flying colors this march! :)

Amazing, but not everything you need

Yes, this is for the updated test.
Little background: I studied for about 4 weeks (and passed the first time) using this product as well as Mosbys 3edition PTCB training book. My advice is to look at the PTCB test blueprint and see what you have to know for the exam, then use the book to find the answers. This book does not have everything you need, it has about 90% what you need, but not all of it.
I spent the first two weeks just trying to make flashcards for the drugs. I would focus on the indicators so that you can easily remember suffixes and prefixes.
Because I am proficient in Mathematics, I waited until the day before to start the math part. Heckman's is good to bring with you when you leave your house and want to study on the go. It's extremely simplified; meaning the information is really easy to understand, but you won't get everything you need.
