About the Author
About the Author: Dr. Andrew Dill, M.D. lives in Tennessee with his wife and two children, three dogs and one bearded dragon. He learned of the risks of global catastrophes while in the military. He served as a Major in the USAF and was the Clinical Response Team Chief for Beale, AFB for three years. He worked to prepare his base for disaster contingencies, including man-made and natural events. His work in counter-terrorism and disaster management forever changed his understanding of the world's dangers. He holds advanced certifications in Wilderness Medicine, Trauma Life Support and Combat Medicine, and is a Board Certified Family Physician. He practices Family Medicine in Gallatin, TN and enjoys writing, hiking, shooting, archery, HAM radio, and reading. He is actively planning the next several books in this gritty new series, and anticipates a rich and detailed storyline, worthy of a place in any fiction reader's favorites.

Edge-of-your-seat thriller!

You won't be able to put it down! Discover a web of characters who weave in and out of events, with surprising results. Well-written, the book's spine-tingling diction, interspersed with medical and scientific facts and a sci-fi edge, follows several characters through life-changing events. The chapter heading quotations accurately relate to characters and forecast coming events. Suspenseful, the novel keeps you guessing until the end, asking for the next installment!

What A Great Book!!!

The Carrington Effect is a well written story that will keep you immersed in the action for hours. If you are a fan of apocalyptic themes, then you will love this book because it is not your average scenario that has been depicted in many others. The characters are relatable, true, and the action will keep you on the edge of your seat. Looking forward to the following books in this series from this new author!

This book is awesome. I couldn't put it down!! The story is based on a phenomenon that has actually occurred and could occur again. This makes the story line and characters come to life. I actually cried at certain points in the book. I would recommend, and have to my family and friends, this book.
