Amazing Dinosaur Pictures and Facts Delivers Bigtime - I got this book to keep my 10 year old grandson occupied for a while and off the xbox or wii. Little did I know it would keep both of us occupied. I rarely see him as excited and engaged as he was turning each page and finding the next interesting fact. He is an excellent reader but he doesn't share with me after he reads a book usually. I could barely get a word in as he shared page after page. We had the longest discussion we've ever had I think. It aroused his curosity and he started asking questions, some that we'll have to look up later.LOL I know this is one book we will read and discuss again. I highly recommend it and my grandson does too.

Dinosaurs - Excellent - Funny - Extremely Well Written!! - Very Entertaining!! I just purchased this book for my nephew who loves everything about dinosaurs. This book is Fantastic!! The presentation, facts and awesome humor that's sprinkled throughout the book are outstanding! The illustrations are so vivid and detailed. The author, P.T. Hersom, created a wonderful read for children of all ages, including adults!! I totally enjoyed the book - from beginning to end - and am absolutely positive my nephew will love it. If you or your kids like to read or learn about dinosaurs, this is a MUST read - and you will want to re-read it many times over. There's just so much info and fun facts packed into this book. Excellent job, Persom!!! A very nice change from some of the junk that is being sold as a "book" these days. A MUST have for your kid's library - or Yours! Excellent!!!!

Fun but full of errors

I enjoyed the book, the format was kind of strange but I found out information on dinosaurs I had not heard of.
Dilophosaurus is on the cover but is not in the book, which I found odd. Also, it's the Jurassic Park version instaed of what science has actually found out about the creature.
My main issue with the book is the afct that there are spelling errors repeated (Styrocosuarus instead of Styracosaurus is used several times.)
I received the book for free and I found it a fun read with some facts that most science books omit, such as the strange case of a human footprint in a dinosaur footprint.
The author neither pushes a creationist theory (that this is proof of man and dino existing before a flood) nor does he say it is impossible to be the real deal, (like so many want-to-be scientists here on the internet who think they know it all.)

Lots of fun facts!

This book was a great read, jam-packed with a lot of information about dinosaurs, the eras they lived in, the people who study them, their defining features, and the types of food they eat. This is perfect for a grade school aged child who wants to know more about dinosaurs. I cannot wait to read more by this author.
