Robert Wurtz II is native of the Kansas City, Mo. area and resides now in Independence, MO with wife Anna. For almost 20 years he has been an author and teacher of advanced biblical studies. This includes nearly a hundred published articles found on multiple Christian websites and magazines. He has served for over 20 years as pastor/teacher to ages ranging from 3 to 103. This includes churches, conferences, tent meetings, nursing homes, summer camps, house meetings, etc. He hosts thegirdedmind.com and is currently serving as a moderator for sermonindex.net and New Covenant Workshops (biblebase.com). His interests are the New Covenant, apologetics and classical revival.

Very insidghtful

I very much enjoyed reading this book and found it to be very insightful and easy to read. First let me start off by saying how very much I appreciate the tone and manner in which this book was written. The author's use of historical facts to clearly show why the church is where it is today is thorough with out being dull or difficult to read. As I read this book I realized there are many challenging truths that God uses to open the eyes of the individual reader and uses to convict of sin in ones own heart. I honestly believe this is a book that was placed upon the heart of the author for today's Christian to read. So many in the organized church follow traditions and formulas never really knowing that was not what God intended for them or for the corporate CHURCH. The book as been a real joy to read, where some books that look to the past to discover the answers of today left me feeling overwhelmed this book did not. I am by no means a learned scholar and yet this book is written in such a way I felt able to easily understand and have been gleaning much from it. I would recommend it to anyone who calls themselves Christian and is looking to understand how and why the church of today does not resemble the CHURCH in the book of Acts.

Important Book For Christians Today

This book by Robert Wurtz is very extensive and historically shows how the compromise of the Gospel and the lose of the New Covenant Christianity happened. He also gives clear Biblical direction on how to lead the people of God to the true Gospel again. This book is a warning as well as a clear way forward for modern Christians in America. We pray and trust it will receive good attention by Christians everywhere. Download this you will not regret you did.

This has changed me!

I won't be able to look at TV preachers the same way every again. I appreciate the historical timeline on the different doctrines on salvation and how we got where we are today. God have mercy on us for trying to change the way He does things...
